Player Stat Guide
The player tables mix box stats, estimated ratings, and model outputs. These are the key terms that show up most often across the page.
TS%
True shooting percentage. Measures scoring efficiency across twos, threes, and free throws.
eFG%
Effective field goal percentage. Gives made threes extra weight because they are worth more.
Self%
Share of made field goals that were self-created rather than assisted. Leaderboard values are lightly shrunk toward league average on tiny samples.
3PAr
Three-point attempt rate. The share of a player's field goal attempts that come from three.
FT Rate
Free throw attempt rate. How often a player gets to the line relative to field goal attempts.
2ndCh Pts
Second-chance points per game, using tracked second-chance scoring from the boxscore misc feed.
OREB%
Offensive rebound percentage. Share of available offensive rebounds a player grabs.
Adv Shot%
Share of attempts that come from the rim or from three, which are usually the most efficient locations.
Shot Mix EV
Expected scoring lift from a player's shot distribution versus league-average shot selection.
Rim% / Paint% / Mid%
Shot-diet splits showing where a player's attempts come from. Leaderboard values use mild league-average shrinkage for tiny samples.
Rim FG% / Mid FG% / ATB 3%
Zone-specific accuracy at the rim, from mid-range, and on above-the-break threes. Leaderboard values are shrunk toward league averages when attempts are low.
USG%
Usage rate. Estimates how many of a team’s offensive possessions end with this player shooting, drawing free throws, or turning it over.
BPM / OBPM / DBPM
Box Plus/Minus estimates overall, offensive, and defensive impact per 100 possessions from box-score signals.
ORtg
Offensive rating. Estimated points produced per 100 possessions while the player is on offense.
DRtg
Defensive rating. Estimated points allowed per 100 possessions. Lower is better.
Stocks/36
Steals plus blocks per 36 minutes.
DREB%
Defensive rebound percentage. Share of available defensive rebounds a player grabs.
Opp Paint/36
Opponent paint points while the player is on the floor, per 36 minutes. Lower is better.
Opp 2nd/36
Opponent second-chance points while the player is on the floor, per 36 minutes. Lower is better.
Opp TO/36
Opponent points off turnovers while the player is on the floor, per 36 minutes. Lower is better.

Personal fouls per 36 minutes. Lower is better.

Net rating. Offensive rating minus defensive rating.
AST%
Assist percentage. Share of teammate field goals a player assists while on the floor.
PTS/36 · REB/36 · AST/36
Per-36 rates normalize production for playing time so bench and starter roles are easier to compare on equal minute volume.
AST/TO
Assist-to-turnover ratio. A quick read on playmaking efficiency and decision-making balance.
REB%
Rebound percentage. Share of available rebounds a player grabs.
TOV%
Turnover percentage. Turnovers per 100 offensive plays used.
RAPM
Rolling multi-season regularized adjusted plus/minus. A context-aware impact estimate shown only when the model considers it stable enough to publish.
SE
Standard error on RAPM. Lower means the estimate is more stable.
