Similarity uses z-scored distance across the selected metric family, so high-usage and low-usage profiles are compared fairly.

Rim, paint, middies, corners, above-break threes
Shot mix uses official shot-location buckets. For teams, the source endpoint reports per-game zone attempts; the important signal here is share, not total volume.
